In the summer of 1989 the first Scarab store opened in the heart of West End, Brisbane. The idea was to create a store to showcase the diversity of works by artesians from near and far. Scarab quickly became a destination store, with customers coming from all suburbs of Brisbane. In 1995 Scarab expanded into Brisbane City, with two stores opening in quick succession.

In 2004 Andrina Comino in partnership with long term associate Louis Adams opened Scarab Byron Bay, where it still is today.

This year Scarab is celebrating its 20th Birthday! 20 years of service and experience in bringing the world to you.
